What Should I Expect During An Examination?

The BioMeridian is based on the work of Dr. Voll (electro-acupuncture) and Dr. Rekeweg (homotoxicology). The unique feature of the BioMeridian is that it wedded the work of these two pioneers into a functional assessment tool. More on Homotoxicology ...

Meridian Stress Analysis (MSA)
Meridian Stress Analysis (MSA), also known as Electrodermal Screening, is used to conduct a comprehensive evaluation of a person¡¯s energetic health and balance. This process involves measuring electrical conductivity at responsive points (meridian points) on the skin ¨C typically on the hands and feet. The locations of the test points generally correspond to those of acupuncture points. These measurements are recorded to help provide a profile of a patient¡¯s present condition.

Graph shows the relationship between electrical skin potentials at the acupuncture points and functional health.

According to European medical research (the work of German Physician Dr. Reinhardt Voll), acupuncture points are related to the body¡¯s organs and organ systems. Major groups of points are connected through channels, or meridians. Thirteen of these meridians begin or end on the hands and feet.

Acupuncture testing points are found on hands/feet and relate to the major organs/systems of the body.

As a patient moves toward or away from health, the condition of any particular organ or system can be sensed along the meridians at representative points like those shown above. As a result, stress associated with the corresponding organs can be surveyed using the indicated points.

After the initial measurements have been taken and recorded, the results of sequential tests can be compared. If stress values are above or below equilibrium, a computer database linked to this system evaluates which herbal or whole food products will bring the meridian back into balance.

Overall, MSA provides a completely non-invasive method for gaining valuable information about the body¡¯s vital functions. The primary objective of this procedure is to disclose patterns of stress and to provide information on what nutritional protocols will help restore the meridian to a state of balance.

BioReportization graphs organ response to nutritional protocols. Areas to the right of green indicating yellow or red are systems under the most stress. Fourteen different body systems are represented.

Meridian Stress Analysis provides an extraordinary new perspective on the state of the body¡¯s energetic health.

Reinhardt Voll connected skin electrical measurements to inflammation (red) and degeneration (yellow).

Benefits of Meridian Stress Analysis:
Nutritional advice to bring the meridians back to balance.
Environmental sensitivity screening.
Test for toxicity and manage detoxification.
Help patients maintain the structural or functional integrity of important body systems.

A: BioMeridian testing is a non-invasive method used to assess the energy meridians (channels) of the body, and it can tell you:

A: This test would benefit anyone interested in examining and improving the functional energetic status of their own bodies. This applies to those who are unwell and looking to improve their health as well as those who have no diagnosable illness but would like to optimize their current state of health and possibly prevent future negative health issues.

A: The examination is performed by testing 56 different acupoints on both hands and feet which relate back to the energy channels and their associated organs, systems or functions. This testing does not involve needles, only a stylus is used to measure the electrical current on each point, which is recorded and analyzed by the BioMeridian software. Be prepared to sit for up to 30 minutes for detailed acupoint testing. Please wear comfortable clothing and relax.

We request that you do not ask questions of the examiner during the test due to the time consuming nature of the test itself. There will be time to ask questions when you are given the results and recommendations after the exam.
